Aluminé, Rafting World Championships 2025, marks a new chapter in the story of the Italian National Para-Rafting Team, supported by ISEM Packaging Group as sponsor, during the international competitions held from November 4 to 8 in Argentina.
Following the positive results achieved at the World Cup 2025 of the World Rafting Federation last June on the Noce River, in the heart of Val di Sole, and the international podium conquered in 2024 at the Pan-American Rafting Championships in Pucón, Chile, the Argentine World Championships add to an intense and rewarding year for the Italian Para-Rafting Team.
A competition of the highest technical level, where the Italian crews faced the best international teams, bringing home outstanding results and further confirmation of their sporting excellence.
Results of the Italian National Team
The rapids of Aluminé, in Patagonia, challenged the Italian crews with a demanding and technical race course. Team Italy responded with grit and talent, earning medals and noteworthy placements:
- Senior Women – the only Italian representative in this category finished the World Championships in 9th place overall, with 5th in Downriver, 7th in Slalom, and 13th in RX. A result that confirms the team’s solidity and determination, as they were called to defend the title won in 2023.
- Senior Men Italy 1 – 11th place in the overall ranking, thanks to 10th in Downriver, 10th in Slalom, and 12th in RX.
- Senior Men Italy 2 – 5th place overall, highlighted by a podium finish in Slalom (2nd), 12th in Downriver, and 8th in RX. A remarkable performance that showcases the crew’s potential.
- Mixed Italy 1 – 4th place overall, with 8th in Downriver, 10th in Slalom, and an excellent 2nd in RX.
- Mixed Italy 2 – 8th place overall, thanks to 13th in Downriver, 3rd in Slalom, and 11th in RX.
The Para-Mixed team delivered an extraordinary performance, securing 2nd place in the overall ranking and crowning the World Championships with a silver in Downriver, a gold in Slalom, and a silver in RX. An outstanding achievement that enriches the Italian expedition with a well-deserved world podium.
