The reigning European and world champions of the Italian Rafting Team ready for new challenges on international rivers: “Rafting is a sport of inclusion”
The Italian Rafting Federation (F.I.Raft), the national sports body in charge of the sports disciplines of Rafting and Hydrospeed under the aegis of CONI, is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Isem Packaging Group, a Benefit Company, European leader in sustainable luxury packaging. This sponsorship agreement marks a significant advancement in F.I.Raft’s support for environmental and social sustainability, particularly emphasising the inclusion of disabled athletes in sport.
The National Para-Rafting Team, conquered the European title last 14 June in Konjic, Bosnia Herzegovina, thanks to this collaboration, looks forward with enthusiasm to the next events it will be involved in: the World Cup in Chile at the end of October 2024 and the World Cup 2025 in Argentina, where it will try to defend the title won in Italy in 2023.
This collaboration will also allow F.I.Raft to further expand its commitment to making sport accessible to all ages and abilities, reflecting the values of fairness, friendship and solidarity. Isem Packaging Group, for its part, sees in this agreement a valuable opportunity to actively support disabled athletes by expanding its initiatives in favour of a concrete and measurable social commitment.
With this agreement, FIRaft and Isem Packaging Group are committed not only to fostering greater awareness of river sports, but also to emphasising the importance of universal access to sport as a fundamental right. Isem Packaging Group and F.I.Raft will work together to advance their shared goals of inclusion and sustainability.
