ISEM PACKAGING GROUP ANNOUNCES THE CLOSING OF THE INDUSTRIAL INTEGRATION DEAL OF BARTOLI PACKAGING
Milan June 2024 – Isem Packaging Group (“ISEM” or the “Group”), Europe’s leading luxury secondary packaging group for the perfumery, cosmetics and fashion sectors, announces the finalization of the industrial integration, through its subsidiary Industrial Pack Srl, of Bartoli Packaging S.r.l. (“Bartoli”), a historic Tuscan company active for more than 70 years in the production of luxury rigid boxes for the big high fashion brands.
The entry of the Pistoia-based company into the Group represents the further project of industrial integration of skills and production capacity and a new stage in the project of creating the first Group operating in the sustainable packaging sector for the luxury market capable of serving its target markets in a transversal way with a 360° multi-product and multi-service proposal with a strong “Made in Italy” connotation.
Supported by Peninsula Capital, Isem Packaging Group, born from the merger of Isem Group and IndustrialPack Group in September 2022, has the ambition to provide its target markets with a broad and excellent product and service portfolio, a flexible, agile production capacity, and an effective response to the ever-increasing focus on the sustainability of products and supply chain in the luxury sector. As of September 2023, the Group had already completed the industrial integration of Sacchettificio Toscano, a leader in the production of fine bags and sartorial quality for more than 40 years at the service of luxury maison globally, accelerating the strengthening of its strategic positioning in the luxury world.
Bartoli was founded in the 1950s in the Monsummano Terme district as a small artisan company. The application of excellent production techniques and innovative solutions, without ever departing from the link with tradition, allowed the company to grow and carve out a leading role in the panorama of paper and cardboard box production, with a particular focus on the world of luxury items. Quality, know-how, creativity and a strong focus on sustainability issues have made Bartoli an excellence in its reference market, allowing it to become a strategic partner of the most important international fashion maison.
The transaction aims to consolidate the Group’s leadership position in the luxury sector, both by enhancing production capacity and by expanding the product range through Bartoli’s unique know-how in making rigid, foldable, round boxes and fine boxes and its ability to meet the needs of its target market with excellent quality and service.
Cinzia Bartoli and Roberto Fanciullacci, who have led Bartoli’s development over the past 40 years, will maintain an active role in leading the company, ensuring continuity for business development.
