B Corp is a business certification designed to promote a more inclusive, fair, and regenerative economy. <\/strong>It does not concern a single product or a single initiative, but assesses the company as a whole<\/strong>: the way it operates, makes decisions, manages its impact, and integrates social, environmental, and governance responsibilities into the business.<\/p>\n

Companies wishing to join the movement begin with a structured self-assessment of their impact through the B Impact Assessment<\/strong>. In the event of a positive result, B Lab then carries out an independent verification, including audit and validation according to an international framework compliant with ISO 17021-1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From 2026, B Lab will introduce new and even more challenging certification standards<\/strong>, refining the assessment by moving from a static model to a dynamic one based on seven impact pillars<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

      For a large European Group like ours, B Corp recertification, with an improved score and the extension of the certification scope to Sacchettificio Toscano Srl and Industrial Packaging Srl, highlights a crucial point: results of this kind are made possible by an increasingly integrated approach across companies<\/strong> with different histories, specializations, and production cultures, but aligned around the same goals.<\/p>\n

      In practical terms, this means extending shared ESG standards and practices<\/strong> across different organizations, building a common and increasingly coordinated approach.<\/p>\n

      Looking ahead to the coming years, the strategic objective of ISEM Group is clear: to achieve B Corp certification for all Group companies by 2029<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      This objective should be read as a common and structured commitment. The point, in fact, is not only the result of individual entities, but the Group\u2019s ability to build shared standards, tools, and practices<\/strong>, extending them to companies with different histories and specializations.<\/p>\n

      The companies already certified, those entering the scope today, and those that have begun adopting an approach consistent with this path show that this process is already underway.       ISEM: a measurable improvement over time<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      ISEM<\/strong> obtained its first B Corp certification<\/a> in July 2021, with a score of 85.1<\/strong>, thus joining the restricted group of companies able to claim this recognition.<\/p>\n

      The new assessment, concluded at the beginning of 2026, brings the score to 98.0<\/strong>: a significant step forward that reflects the strengthening of the path undertaken in recent years. Also part of this journey is the EcoVadis Gold medal obtained in 2024<\/strong>, which further highlights of an ESG commitment initiated in previous years.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”13551″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image” css=””][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

      Sacchettificio Toscano and Industrial Pack: first inclusion within the certification scope<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      For Sacchettificio Toscano<\/strong> and Industrial Pack<\/strong>, inclusion for the first time in the B Corp certification scope marks an important step within the broader journey of ISEM Group. In both cases, it reflects the progressive extension of shared standards and assessment criteria across different companies within the Group.<\/p>\n

      In particular, Sacchettificio Toscano<\/strong> already shows a structured sustainability framework. In 2024, the company maintained certifications including SA8000, ISO 14001, FSC, GOTS and GRS<\/strong>, while also planning the transition to PAS 24000<\/strong> in the area of social responsibility. Its 2024 Sustainability Report<\/a> also highlights regular stakeholder engagement, supplier audits on social and environmental compliance, the use of a 70 kW photovoltaic system<\/strong>, the purchase of 100% renewable electricity from the grid<\/strong>, and the growing use of recycled and organic materials in production.<\/p>\n

      For Industrial Pack<\/strong>, this first inclusion can, at this stage, be presented in a more concise way as part of the same broader certification scope.       EGISA and Bartoli Packaging: a path already visible<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      If three of the Group\u2019s companies are B Corp certified<\/strong>, two others are also moving in the same direction: EGISA<\/strong> and Bartoli Packaging<\/strong>. In both cases, this development is supported by initiatives and recognitions that are already in place.<\/p>\n

      For EGISA<\/strong>, this path can be seen in two specific steps. The first is its membership in the United Nations Global Compact since 2024<\/strong>, the world\u2019s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative, which asks companies to align strategies and operations with ten universal principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption<\/strong>. The second is the EcoVadis Gold<\/strong> medal obtained in the latest assessment in January 2026. Together, these elements indicate a structured approach to ESG topics and a formalized commitment to environmental, social, and governance responsibility.<\/p>\n

      For Bartoli Packaging<\/strong>, the trajectory is equally clear.
